This is a rare circa early 1920s United States Navy Chief Petty Officer hat badge in gilt brass with nickel letters (USN).

Circa early 1920s.

Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

Gilt brass, nickel.

Vertical pin with tongue-style catch.
