Rare Circa 1917-1918 Onarga (Illinois) Military Academy Badge

This is a rare circa 1917-1918 Onarga Military School badge. In 1917, Onarga changed from an Illinois coeducational preparatory school to an all-male military school run by United State Army Brigadier General J.E. Bittinger. The pin shows a modified version of the Great Seal above the word ONARGA.

Circa 1917-1918.

Approximately 1" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

Brass.

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
