Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1960s Glen Carbon, Illinois Police badge. The badge has a large Seal of the State of Illinois with an enameled border at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass, enamel details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The badge has light wear and some limited oxidation/discoloration around the seal.
