ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1910s or 1920s American Life Saving Society (ALSS) Quartermaster badge. The badge is in silvered nickel by Dieges & Clust of New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silvered nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical hook-style pin with tongue-style C catch.

MARKINGS: DIEGES & CLUST.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows only some very light wear and tarnish; all enamel is intact; period repair to pin (hinge break).
