ARTIFACT: Rare! Circa 1943 United States Army Enlisted Man plastic visor hat badge with steel keeper wartime shortage materials. The front of the badge displays a raised Great Seal of the United States – an eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch with a scroll in its beak that features the motto.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943

SIZE: Approximately 1 ½" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt plastic and steel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with six stabilizers and disc backing

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 LHEX7/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The hat badge shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the plating details remain intact.
