ARTIFACT: Scarce WWI United States Army Enlisted Man (EM) hat badge in blackened bronze. This beautifully detailed badge shows the Great Seal of the United States in the center – an eagle with wings spread, clutching arrows and oak leaves in its talons with a scroll/banner in its beak that reads: "E PLURIBUS UNUM".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Blackened bronze

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and two stabilizer pins (bent)

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MFX16 LEEX10/16 SEJX06/18

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The hat badge shows minor to moderate wear, great patina, overall excellent condition.
