ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1935-1940 sleeve shield for the Italian Army 127th Ethiopian Division "Sila II", which was formed in Eritrea in 1935 and disbanded in late 1942. The shield would have been worn like a shoulder patch, and was done away with early in the 1940s.

VINTAGE: Circa 1935-1940.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 1-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted brass.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some small areas of light wear.
