Very Rare Italian Fascist Youth (GIL) Grosetto Sleeve Shield

This is a very rare sleeve shield for the Italian Fascist Youth of Grosseto. The group began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 193The sleeve shield would have been worn as a shoulder patch, and is in Bakelite. It was made by Castelli-Gerosa.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-1/16" in width.

Painted Bakelite.

Small holes.
