1930s-WWII Italian Fascist Youth Guard/GIL-Gioventù Italiana del Littorio Roma Sleeve Shield

This is a sleeve shield for the Italian Fascist Youth of Rome (Roma). The GIL began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 193The sleeve shield would have been worn as a shoulder patch. It reads AVANGUARDISTI GIL ROMA.

Circa 1930s-World War II.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

Painted brass.

Small holes.

None.
