1930s-WWII Italian Fascist Youth Guard/GIL-Giovent Italiana del Littorio Palermo Sleeve Shi

This is a sleeve shield for the Italian Fascist Youth of Palermo. The GIL began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 193The sleeve shield is somewhat convex and would have been worn as a shoulder patch. It reads AVANGUARDISTI GIL PALERMO.

Circa 1930s-World War II.

Approximately 2-7/8" in height and 2-3/16" in width.

Painted brass.

Small holes.
