ARTIFACT: Rare circa 1922 – 1923 United States Army 9th Cavalry Regiment 'bottle cap' distinctive insignia. The center features a blue enameled fort with crossed arrows behind and three stars along the top, surrounding it at the top reads: "WE CAN", and the bottom: "WE WILL".

VINTAGE: Circa 1921 - 1923

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and two stabilizer pins.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army distinctive insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX15 LAGEX11/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows minor to moderate surface wear, nearly all the gilt and enamel details remain intact.
