Matched pair of WWI United States Army 2nd Cavalry Regiment Officer's collar insignia M1905 in blackened bronze. During WWI the 2nd was stationed in Europe and took place in many battles there including the Aisne-Marne Offensive, and these were the last battles where the enemy was engaged by mounted horse cavalry.

ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come under "c" catch.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The matched pair shows minor wear, oxidation mostly to reverse, handsome overall patina.
