Description
Rare circa 1910 Boston & Maine Railroad china dinner platter by Maddock China, Leominster, New Jersey (Trenton). The platter is oval shaped and reads: "BOSTON AND MAINE RAILROAD" along the top. The mark on the underside of the platter reads: "Mitchell Woodbury Co. Boston, Mass." Mitchell Woodbury was a distributor located on Pearl Street in Boston and was bought by the Maddock Pottery Company in 1892.
