ARTIFACT: Rare circa 1900 Portsmouth, New Hampshire "Blob Top" bottle of bottler J. Sacco, Market Street. The center of the bottle reads: "J. SACCO 110 MARKET ST. PORTSMOUTH, N. H." above it reads: "REGISTERED" and the base of the bottle reads: "THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD". The bottle shows seams that run from the base to just below the blob top, telling that the bottle was blown in the mold and then the top was hand-applied, the top also features a steel Lightning type closure.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900

SIZE: Approximately 9 ½" tall x 2 ½" diameter (base)

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Blown in mold, embossed glass, steel Lightning-type closure.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The bottle shows minor to moderate wear mostly to steel closure, overall very fine condition.
