ARTIFACT: This is a rare, beautiful, and huge 1940 "Long Live Belgium" patriotic or donation brooch. It has a lion standing on his hind legs holding up the Belgian flag. The brooch was made by Silson in gilt & enameled brass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940.

SIZE: Appr: 3-1/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Stick pins.

MARKINGS: "SILSON. PAT D 93158"
