Description
This is a huge and gorgeous early 1940's Amigos Siempre ("Friends Forever") donation brooch for the Inter-American Scholarship Fund by Coro. The brooch was commissioned by Elanor Roosevelt and designed by one Lester Gaba. These brooches were sold for the price of $3.95, from which the proceeds went to the Inter-American Scholarship fund. The flags on the pin, of which there are 21, are representative of the countries of North and South America.
