This is a rare and beautiful early World War II United States Army Air Forces Command Pilot wing with a wreathed star above the central shield. The wing has a lovely patina and was made by Balfour.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS: LGB (Balfour maker mark) STERLING.
