ARTIFACT: This is a stunning and well preserved rare Italian-made jacket patch for the USAAF's 71st Fighter Squadron, 1st Fighter Group, 12th to 15th Air Force.

VINTAGE: WW II.

SIZE: About 5 ¾" in height and 6" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk/Satin and embroidery thread on a cotton support.

ATTACHMENT: To be attached to garment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of WW II to Vietnam vintage squadron patches which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PEJJX08 LABJJX SAJJJX7/10.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent ) This patch is in great condition with very little wear at all, and just a minor smear on the cloud by the right lightning - please refer to our image for a closer look.
