Rare 1980s-90s Bohlin Trophy Buckle. Classic Noah Beery Design in Box

Rare 1980's - 1990's Bohlin sterling and gold trophy buckle featuring the classic Noah Beery design. The silver longhorn in the center features ruby eyes. Each corner displays a nicely detailed and raised horse's head and surrounding the longhorn are four flower blossoms. The longhorn, horses, and flowers feature gold plating. The top center of the buckle above the longhorn's head is a blank plate and the edges of the buckle feature a detailed rope design. The buckle comes along with its original box which shows a maker's sticker that reads: "EDW. H. BOHLIN, CO. MAKER HOLLYWOOD, CAL." Bohlin Brand has been making handcrafted belt buckles since the 1940's. The late Richard Farnsworth, a famous actor who starred in many iconic western roles - most known for his performance in The Grey Fox, The Straight Story, and Misery wore a Bohlin buckle for decades. Another well-known television actor to wear his fashions was Clayton Moore, The Lone Ranger. Both him and his white horse were decorated in Bohlin-made gear.

9- (Excellent+): The buckle shows minor wear and tarnish, the box shows light storage wear and soiling, nearly all of the gold details remains intact, gemstones are bright in color, overall excellent condition.
