Description
This is a circa 1980s or 1990s reunion grouping for World War II USAAF 20th Air Force veteran Earl Hoffsis of Wood County, Ohio. Hoffsis enlisted in the Army March 1, 1943 at Camp Perry Lacarne. The grouping comes in its original mailing box, and includes three patches of differing sizes, an enameled belt buckle, a bolo, a keychain and some stickers (there are several more rows of the round CBI stickers folded underneath what shows in the photo). VINTAGE:Circa 1980s-1990s.
SIZE:Largest patch: approximately 7" in height by 4-3/4" in width; other items are of various sizes.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patches, plated brass with enamel, nylon cord, stickers.
ATTACHMENT:Buckle, key ring, cord.
MARKINGS:Buckle: W USA; Christman Brothers on box.
