ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Air Forces 20th Air Force shoulder patch hand-embroidered in silk on silk in China. This patch was originally owned by 20th Air Force veteran Earl Hoffsis of Wood County, Ohio. Hoffsis enlisted in the Army March 1, 1943 at Camp Perry Lacarne. Please see the link at the bottom of this page for information on another WWII patch originally belonging to Hoffsis (for sale separately).

Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-7/18" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Silk hand-embroidered in silk, muslin backing.
