ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Air Forces 20th Air Force shoulder patch hand-embroidered in silk on silk in China. This patch was originally owned by 20th Air Force veteran Earl Hoffsis of Wood County, Ohio. Hoffsis enlisted in the Army March 1, 1943 at Camp Perry Lacarne. Please see the link at the bottom of this page for information on another WWII patch originally belonging to Hoffsis (for sale separately).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-7/18" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk hand-embroidered in silk, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX14 LACEX4/14 SACEX8/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear and minor soiling to the reverse only.
