Description
This is a rare circa 1940s captain wing 2nd Issue for Mid-Continent Airlines, which was established in 1928 in Iowa, but became part of Braniff International Airways in 195The wing is in the early stamped type style with a pin-back closure. It has great red, white and blue enameled details.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height by 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing some small spots of light to medium wear, mostly to the reverse, and minor tarnish.
