ARTIFACT: Scarce 1920's Rockaway Township, New Jersey Town Marshal badge by C. D. Reese in New York. The center of the badge is slightly convex and depicts the State Seal of New Jersey in nice raised detail and surrounding it reads: "MARSHAL ROCKAWAY, N.J." A spread-winged eagle with a bowed head sits perched at the top of the badge and the bottom displays the #6.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickeled nickel, black painted detail

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: "C.D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. N.Y."

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plated and painted details remain, handsome patina, overall very fine condition.
