Rare 1920s-Early 1930s USCG Officer Hat Badge by Vanguard-NYC in Sterling: Only One I've Seen!

This is a circa 1920s or early 1930s United States Coast Guard Officer hat badge marked Vanguard NYC on reverse: this is the only one of its kind that I have seen. The badge is a large eagle perched upon a silver anchor bearing a silver shield.

Circa 1920s-early 1930s.

Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 2-13/16" in width.

Gilt sterling silver.

Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization posts.
