The Grand Army of the Republic was a fraternal organization composed of veterans of the Union Army, Union Navy, Marines and the U.S. Revenue Cutter Service who served in the American Civil War. It was founded in 1866 in Springfield, Illinois, and grew to include hundreds of "posts" across the nation.
Approximately 8-3/8" in height x 2-15/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
This is from a Civil War veterans' collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX20 LAAEX04/11/20
6(Fine): The ribbon shows stain of glue on both side, center of the ribbon where the main printed area is very nice, overall it is in fine condition.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
