This is a ribbon for the New Hampshire Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) 44th Annual Encampment, which took place in the capital city of Concord on April 19-20, 191The badge reads GAR and shows two crossed United States flags.
VINTAGE:Circa 1911.
SIZE:4-5/16" height and 1-11/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass badge and printed red, white and blue silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J. printed on reverse of ribbon and original manufacturer's adhesive label attached.
