Rare 1880's - 90's MSPCA Award in Sterling Awarded for Bravery & Intelligence by O'Neil Jewelers

Rare and beautiful 1880's – 1890's Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) award in sterling by O'Neil Jewelers in Cambridge, Mass. The center shows a nicely detailed dogs head and the reverse shows that this example was awarded for "BRAVERY AND INTELLIGENCE". Surrounding the dog it reads: "THE MASSACHUSETTS SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AWARD".
