ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1880s or 1890s advertising paperweight for Winthrop M. Baker's Boston Chocolate and Bonbons of Boston, Massachsuetts. The insert reads FOR THE FINE TRADE and lists Baker's address as 490 Atlantic Avenue, Boston. The glass paperweight was made by Pyrophoto of New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s-1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2"e; in width and 4" in length and 13/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass, paper.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Pyrophoto Co. 30 & 32 FIRST ST. NEW YOBK (sic).

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The paperweight has areas of moderate discoloration to the insert; no chips or cracks.
