This is a Rare 1870's - 80's Union Hook & Ladder Company No.1 Rutland, Vermont Volunteer Fire Badge. 

Circa 1870's - 1880's.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

Large Nickel Plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin.

8 (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, has light abrasion on both side, all the painted lettering remain intact.
