This is a circa 1870s-1880s postal badge from the Post Office of Baltimore, Maryland. The badge has a low number (8) and is in excellent condition.

Circa 1870s-1880s.

Approximately 1-7/16" in diameter.

Nickel-plated brass.

Vertical pin with tongue-style C catch.
