ARTIFACT: This is a pre-World War I visor cap for a member of the Kaiser's Yacht Club. The cap is of the highest quality, and has a nice vine design around the hatband and a lovely bullion and enameled badge reading KY.

VINTAGE: Circa pre-World War I.

SIZE: Cap: approximate size 7.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, patent leather, bullion embroidery, gold-plated brass, enamel, embroidery tape, silk lining, leather liner.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Hard to read maker's mark from a company in FEDERFELD.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-JMB-25-VAEJJX11 LAHEJX10/11 RET3/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The cap has some areas of light wear inside the liner and light tarnish to the bullion.
