ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful pre-World War I member lapel pin for the Chicago Flying Club of Illinois. The pin has a very deco look to it and is in gilt brass save for the center propeller.

VINTAGE: Circa pre-World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in width and 9/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: X.S. S with an arrow maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEL98 LBFEX7/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear, mostly to the reverse.
