This is a beautiful pre-World War I member lapel pin for the Chicago Flying Club of Illinois. The pin has a very deco look to it and is in gilt brass save for the center propeller.
VINTAGE:Circa pre-World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in width and 9/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt and nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:X.S. S with an arrow maker mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear, mostly to the reverse.
