ARTIFACT:
This is a pair of World War II panoramic photos taken in England of the United States Army Company D 513th Airborne (Parachute) Infantry Regiment, along with the 17th Airborne. These photos were taken sometime before the 513th and 17th transferred to France to reinforce General Patton's Third Army at Mourmelon. The photos are identical, the only differences being that one has a descriptive title, along with handwritten names of some of the men over their images. Both have a London photographer's mark and are numbered in their lower right-hand corners.

Circa 1944.
SIZE:
Approximately 8" in height by 27-1/2" in length (each).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Photographs shrink-wrapped to a piece of foam board. These photograph will be shipped unwrapped and rolled without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting.

CONDITION:
7 (Very Fine): The titled photo has several vertical crease marks and both have minor fading and no rips.
