ARTIFACT: This is a pair of sterling silver collar insignia for the Civil Aeronautics Administration. Both read CAA WAR TRAINING SERVICE and show a Native American bust flanked by wings at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 7/8" diameter with slight jutting out for tips of wings (each insignia).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch on each.

MARKINGS: PAT. PEND. STERLING on each.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX03 LAGEX 5/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Pair shows light wear and tarnishing.
