ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver flight instructor cap badge for the Civil Aeronautics Administration. The badge reads CAA WAR TRAINING SERVICE and shows an Indigenous American bust flanked by wings at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-7/8" diameter with slight jutting out for tips of wings.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: PAT. PEND. STERLING.
