This is a World War II United States Civil Air Patrol (CAP) collar insignia. The badge is shaped like the letters C.A.P., and is in sterling silver.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:STERLING and patent info on backings.
