Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an ornate, early and rare "Old West" stock City Marshal six point star badge from the 1870s-1880s. The star is delicately bordered and there is a lovely floral rendering in the center of the badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1870s-1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
