ARTIFACT: Great 1890's Old West City Marshal six point star badge. The nickel plated brass badge features ball tip points and reads: "CITY MARSHAL" in blackened letters with a nice embellishment in the center.
These badges came out of an old collection put together by a collector from Kansas, now deceased. As the bulk of his collection was Kansas and Colorado, it can be safely assumed that these badges were indeed worn in the Old West of their particular vintage, although I do not know exactly where any were used or collected.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJJX15 LAAGEX12/15 SAJJJX4/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine -): The badge shows moderate surface wear, overall very fine condition.
