Officer's Quality Scottish Hat Badge

This is an officer's quality Scottish cap badge. The badge is edged with a wreath and shows two forearms at center, one with a dirk, and reads UTRUM HORUM MAVIS ACCIPE (take whichever of those you prefer).

Circa 1890s.

2-1/2" diameter.

Nickel-plated brass.

Two single screw pins with looped washer backings.
