ARTIFACT:

This is an odd United States Marine Corps enlisted man's overseas cap from World War II. The cap has a sterling eagle, globe and anchor insignia that has no screw or pin and was sewn on.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximate size 6-7/8.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool, twill interior hatband, and sterling silver.

MARKINGS:

M. J. CATINO.
