This is an odd circa World War II Chinese Air Force hat badge. It is American-made, and may possibly have been worn by flight instructors in the States. The Chinese sun is nicely enameled at center and flanked by a pair of golden wings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 2-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two screw posts with disc backings.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows only some small spots of oxidation.
