This is an early occupation period German-made beer mug for the United States Army 532md Military Intelligence Battalion. The mug shows a checkered coat of arms bearing a rearing stallion and reads NOSCE HOSTEM (know your enemy) and Munich Jic at bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945-1946.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" height and 5-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Ceramic.
MARKINGS:HANDPAINTED A. WILHELM.
