This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 1st Military Intelligence Battalion by Denmark. The DI shows a hand holding up a winged eyeball and reads INFORMARE LABORAMUS (we labor to inform).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:DENMARK N.Y. D22.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LCFX3/11 SCFX05/20
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows light wear and tarnish.
