ARTIFACT: This is a numbered World War II theatre-made DI (distinctive insignia) for the Executive Headquarters. Enameled in a brilliant blue, the badge bears Chinese characters at top and three interlocking rings flanked by stalks of wheat.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-1/4" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with multi-colored enameling.

ATTACHMENT: Encased horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: 344 and Chinese characters.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGEX02 LBGEX7/10 SBGEX8/11

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Pin has small specks of wear and tarnish on reverse and is still striking.
