Numbered CBI Theatre-Made Executive Headquarters DI Badge

This is a numbered World War II theatre-made DI (distinctive insignia) for the Executive Headquarters. Enameled in a brilliant blue, the badge bears Chinese characters at top and three interlocking rings flanked by stalks of wheat.

Circa World War II.

1-1/4" diameter.

Plated brass with multi-colored enameling.

Encased horizontal safety-style pin.

344 and Chinese characters.

8+ (Excellent): Pin has small specks of wear and tarnish on reverse and is still striking.
