ARTIFACT:

This is an August 1936 Nazi tinnie from Detmold for a NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung) rally. NSKOV was largely a veteran's aid organization known as the National Socialist War Victim's Care. The tinnie shows a figure with a raised sword atop the dome of a building.

VINTAGE:

Circa August 1936.

SIZE:

Approximately 2" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped tin/brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie has some light wear and tarnish and the top is very slightly bent backward.
