Minty Nazi NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung) Army Veterans' Hat Badge

This is a minty Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung, or NSKOV (National Socialist War Victim's Care) Army veterans' association hat badge. The Nazi Party established this welfare organization for wounded World War I veterans in 1934 and it was disbanded with the fall of the Third Reich. The lightweight badge is in aluminum with an enameled swastika. It is maker-marked "2" on reverse.

Circa mid-1930s-WWII.

Approximately 1" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

Aluminum with enamel, brass prongs.

Three bendable prongs.
