This is a cool circa World War II United States Rubber Company plant police/guard photo identification badge. The company started in 1892 in Naugatuck, Connecticut as a consolidation of several smaller outfits. The badge was for the company's Detroit, Michigan plant. The badge is numbered 5802.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, photograph, paper, clear celluloid.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch, metal backplate.
MARKINGS:None.
