Description
Nice, worn example WWII O.S.S. (Office of Strategic Services) Special Recon Battalion arc. Embroidered black wool felt that reads: "SPECIAL RECON BN." in red letters, this example was removed from a uniform. The OSS was the United States' wartime intelligence agency and it operated from June 13, 1942 until September 20, 1945 before it was replaced two years later by the Central Intelligence Agency.
