ARTIFACT:

Great WWII UK No. 6 Commando Shoulder Arc. No. 6 saw action during Operation Torch in North Africa and on D-Day, as well as many other battles. Arc reads "No 6 COMMANDO" and is embroidered in red thread on wool felt, patch was worn and removed from uniform.

Approximately 4 1/8" x 3/4".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidered wool felt with cotton/silk thread, gauze backing.
