This is a nice M-1936 World War II Italian Air Force pilot wing. Only the blade of the Fasces (not the entire Fasces) was removed post-1943 to show loyalty to the King instead of Mussolini.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-7/8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with plunger catch.
MARKINGS:None.
